Mason Marske
Biography: Hello! My name is Mason and I study Kinesiology at OSU. I have a great passion for music and photography, especially portrait photography. Lately I have been experimenting with film photography, and I’ve learned so much from the delayed gratification and more intentional camera-setting choices! I love sharing my work with others at @milesmasonphotography on instagram!
Artist Statement: My photography focuses on capturing the way I felt when I saw the scene. Whether it’s the use of color, light, or facial expressions in my portraits, I want the viewer to connect with my work on an emotional level. This year I completed a series of self-portraits in abandoned places, trying to connect with these historical mysteries and fill them with life.
