About
PRISM is Oregon State University’s premier art and literary journal. We strive to uplift student and community voices through articles, podcasts, videos, and other creative content on our blog, Instagram, and Facebook throughout the week. We use these platforms both to publish interesting discussions around art and to feature student work and voices we receive through submissions.
We publish one annual print journal during spring term which will also have the means to feature, in tandem, digital submissions such as creative video and student-created music. Submissions to the journal are due through the submissions tab of our website by December 2, 2024 at 11:59PM.
Our volunteer team has the opportunity to work on PRISM’s podcast Refraction, help develop video content, publish directly to our blog, discuss and help select submissions to our annual journal, and more. Students of all interests and all majors are encouraged to volunteer with PRISM for the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and build a great team environment. To become a volunteer, reach out to the Editor-in-Chief at the email below, or come to one of our open houses.
Submissions are always open to any student of any major. Even if the deadline for the annual journal has passed, there is the possibility that student work may be featured on our blog or social media.
PRISM welcomes information about factual errors that warrant a correction. Messages can be emailed to our Editor-in-Chief.
