Prism Open Photo Studio (for submissions)

Any artist looking to submit a physical work to Prism, please pay attention!

Our Dearest Artist,

Prism will be holding an open studio photography session for those artists submitting to Prism that have physical artwork to submit. This open space and studio is inviting any prospective Prism print artist who has a physical piece such as a collage, a painting, a sculpture, a face of makeup, nail art, fashion designs, or anything else tangible to submit to get their work photographed for more accessible submissions.

Coming to this open studio is completely free and will not require a reservation, however, getting your piece photographed also does not guarantee a spot in Prism’s annual print journal. We highly encourage you to come and get photographs of your artwork.

To those artists who have already submitted photographs of their physical work, if you have been selected for placement within the annual journal, we will contact you later on to get new photos of your work. If you are projected to not be available next term for a follow-up shoot, please come to the open studio to get your piece re-photographed for our record.

The studio is located on the 4th floor of the Student Experience Center (taken by either the elevator or the peripheral stairs). It will be the large studio to the right of both elevators, near the main hallway that leads to the main front desk. Our open studio dates are on Tuesday and Wednesday of this next week (Dec. 12th and 13th) and lasts from 3pm-5pm.

We look forward to seeing you,

Good luck with finals and submitting to Prism,

Jiratana Tungkawachara & Prism
